Camps
What to expect
What you need to know before coming — from the daily routine to what to pack.
The first day
The camp begins on Sunday afternoon. On arrival: registration, room allotment and the first readings — weight, blood pressure and sugar. These are repeated on day six so the difference is measured rather than assumed.
There is an opening satsang in the evening, then a light meal. Sleeping early that first night is itself the preparation for the six that follow.
Accommodation and facilities
Shared rooms, separate for men and women. Bedding, linen and sanitation are arranged by the camp. Women sevadars are present throughout.
You may keep a mobile phone, but you are asked to switch it off during sessions. Using it through the silent intervals defeats the point of the camp.
Meals
Three times a day, at fixed hours, entirely sattvic. No sugar, no refined flour, nothing fried. The third day is a fast.
If you have a food allergy or need a specific diet, say so at registration.
